- Quotes. Quotes are based on the photos and details you give us. If the stump, access or ground conditions turn out to be different on the day (for example rocks, buried concrete, a stump bigger than the photo showed, or the big machine cannot get in), we will tell you before we start and agree any change in price. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
- Access and services. You are responsible for telling us about anything buried near the stump: irrigation, drainage, stormwater, electrical, old footings. We check Before You Dig Australia for public services near boundaries, but private pipes and cables are not on those plans. We are not liable for damage to private services we were not told about.
- Depth and finish. Standard grinding is 200 to 300 mm below ground with the main surface roots chased. Small roots further out stay in the ground and break down over time. Deeper grinding and root removal for slabs, driveways and walls is quoted separately.
- Grindings. Unless we agree otherwise, the chips are raked back into the hole and left on the property. Removal of chips is quoted separately. Brisbane, Logan and Ipswich are in the fire ant biosecurity zone, so chips and soil are not moved off site except under the biosecurity rules.
- Trees still standing. We grind stumps. If the tree still needs to come down, that work is done by Dynamic Tree Solutions under its own quote, and any council approval for removing the tree is the property owner’s responsibility.
- Payment. Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed account terms in writing. We accept bank transfer and card. Invoices unpaid after 14 days may incur a late fee and recovery costs.
- Cancellation. You can cancel or move a booking any time before we are on the way at no cost. If we arrive and cannot do the job because of access, animals or anything on your side, a call-out fee may apply.
- Our work. If you are not happy with the finish, tell us within 7 days and we will come back and fix it at no charge. This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Insurance. We carry public liability insurance; a certificate of currency is on our Insurance page and available on request.
- Law. Queensland law applies.
